Free Connects Inclusion
Hey there! Upwork Freelancers! good news for you all!
From December 2020, Upwork has decided to give you monthly free connects and and bonus connects on each of the task completed by you. And a lot more connects means you get more chances to do the work of your choice. With less connects, it may not be easy to showcase your proper talent on Upwork. So, in order to make your connections with clients exciting and budget-friendly Upwork has come up with the following free connects plan.

Newbie - If you are a fresher on Upwork, you will receive 40 free connects and if you pass the Upwork Readiness Test, you get another 40 connects. This is in accordance with your billing cycle.
Freelancer Basic Plan - You will receive 10 free connects every month according to billing cycle.
Freelancer Plus Plan - You will receive 10 free connects per month. So it will be 70+10=80 connects according to billing cycle.
Connects Rollover Limits - Rollover limit for basic and plus plans is now 200 connects.
Interview Requests (New one) - If you receive an interview request and you respond to it by submitting a proposal, you earn 10 free connects per interview. However, this has a weekly limit of 50 Connects.

From December 2020 onwards, you will see these free connects added to your account in your corresponding billing cycle. You can check it by logging in to your account - click on settings - click on membership and connects. You will get email notification once your connects are available for use.
Upwork has announced the right thing at the right time. So, these connects are definitely going to help you towards building stronger relationships with your clients and growing your career/business on Upwork.
